![]() In the township the population was spread out, with 26.7% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 33.7% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 7.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 3.02. 16.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. There were 1,897 households, out of which 38.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.2% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.4% were non-families. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.61% of the population. The racial makeup of the township was 98.94% White, 0.26% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.06% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.22% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. There were 2,036 housing units at an average density of 59.2 per square mile (22.9/km 2). The population density was 148.1 inhabitants per square mile (57.2/km 2).
